Michael and Anne are thinking it up
the story to tell when the cops show up
there was a fight over a girl
and of all the people in this world
I never thought he’d have a gun
but now it seems more than likely
that he certainly had one
he was kind of upset
I think that he was playing Russian roulette
he was alone in the room
we were watching Dallas
when we heard the big boom
I’ve never seen this man before
he must have jimmied the lock on the back door
maybe a vagrant from the park
you know it’s really hard to tell
you know the whole house was dark
